Student Ministry at The University of Tennessee
This page shares stories from real-life students about the difference The Cross ministry to sorority and fraternity students at the University of Tennessee has made in their lives.
I believe that The Cross serves a very important role on campus. Not only does it bring together students from different Greek organizations, but also from those outside fraternities and sororities. I believe that the Cross brings together Greeks and non-Greeks to grow in their faith, and serve the community and each other.
The Cross provides a close knit group of people seeking to grow in their own faith. What draws folks to The Cross is the community they find there. I know if I ever had a problem, I could literally go to anyone on the leadership team and they would be willing to help guide me through it.
I can’t imagine my four years at the University of Tennessee without the community of The Cross. It has been an incredible community with other students to share in our struggles, encourage one another through tough times, and celebrate what God is doing in our lives together. The Cross has played an important role in connecting myself and other students with Christ during their time at UT.
The Cross community has served as my anchor and motivation for a continued yearning to discover who Jesus really is.
